Wow!! I stayed at The Happy Pig for one night as I hiked The Kerry Way. It was fabulous. My room overlooked the back garden and gorgeous Irish landscape in the distance. The room and bed were VERY comfortable and just what I needed after a long day of hiking. There was a gorgeous sitting room with a cozy fire on the main floor and tea, coffee, and a kettle in the room. The bedroom windows opened up to the fresh country air and evening breezes. The breakfast in the morning, before another hiking day, was scrumptious... and there was an extensive menu of home cooked dishes to choose from. My only regret was that I was only able to stay one night. If I'm fortunate enough to be in Kenmare again... I will definitely stay at The Happy Pig again.

Absolutely lovely stay. Liz our hostess couldn’t have been more helpful. Parking is on street but from 4 pm to 11am next day it’s free. We parked our vintage cars on Henry street and everyone commented on them. Breakfast was lovely & flavoursome , unfortunately restaurant was closed in a Sunday but I’m sure it would be excellent. On recommendation we ate at Davitt’s
