Patrick & Irene are exceptional hosts. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed being able to prepare a few meals in the kitchen and also was able to do a load of laundry on site. The location is walking distance to The Reek as well as a nice pub and a good restaurant.

The cottage was absolutely adorable and such a comfortable stay. I stayed as a solo traveler and felt taken care of both because of the cottage amenities as well as the kind and communicative hosts. The hosts provided clear instructions for everything - from how to work the heat to where to eat dinner. I loved staying in Murrisk and being able to walk around the area but also enjoyed having Westport be a short drive away. It was such a cozy and peaceful stay!

The cottage was cleaner than some 5 star hotels we’ve been in! Everything is thought of by the hosts and upon reading reviews before we arrived we could see that the owners had taken on feedback and had a cosy blanket on the couch, water provided and other amenities like coffee, milk, shower gel etc. Plenty of towels, bed was so comfy. We enjoyed hiking and some downtime in the cosy cottage. It’s also a short drive to Westport and only 15min walk to Croagh Patrick. We didn’t meet the hosts, got keys in a lockbox but I loved that it was so private. We will definitely be back!
