I was there one night with my daughter and would love to go back. Dierdre and Tommy were so hospitable and lovely and the room was beautiful and spacious and had all the amenities you could want including a tea / coffee station. Very highly recommended.

The room, although with somewhat oudated decor, was just great: Spacious, clean, with comfortable mattress, and cozy duvet and pillows.
A free car park was just in front of the property.
A pub... just next door. Goid selection of whiskeys... We had a good craic in it.
With breakfast you MUST try a homemade soda bread - it is a pure indulgence.
Declan (the host) was making sure everything was in place and would openly chat about every aspect of the accommodation.

We loved Hy Breasal and Achill Island! Marie is a great host. She greeted us upon arrival and was so very welcoming. She definitely made the stay extra special and gave us tips on where to go. The breakfast was delicious (complete with fresh fruit!) The location is amazing and Achill Island is absolutely gorgeous. Loved everything about this stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Val’s Ocean View House. Location is fantastic on Doogort beach. The house is so comfortable with everything needed on hand. A great location for exploring Achill.
The location was excellent, only minutes walk to keel village and the beach. The accommodation was luxurious, spotless and so quiet. Breakfast was an adventure in itself and John and Alex our hosts were delightful.
Beautiful room, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, with lovely views - such a relaxing stay. Deirdre and Tommy were very helpful and accommodating hosts and it was handy to have information in the room (menus for local restaurants etc., walking maps). We stayed two nights and would have loved to stay more if we had the chance!
I would recommend 'The Currach' for breakfast in the village nearby (as breakfast not available in the house) - excellent pancakes and lovely staff. The Beehive was gorgeous for lunch too.
We loved the warm welcome from Deirdre and Tommy, who were always available with great recommendations on places to eat and sites to visit. The location is very peaceful, located between two small villages with cafes and pubs, and overlooking the dramatic Atlantic Ocean.
Fabulous welcome, tea and coffee in the room, gorgeous linen, beautiful views...central to keel and dooagh, so you can walk to either village for restaurants etc.
