The location was perfect, the room comfortable and being able to use the lounge was an added bonus. Margaret is a lovely lady who made us both very welcome.
Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Blackstairs Shepherds Huts is a campground situated in a historic building in Killedmond, 15 km from Carrigleade Golf Course.
Gardens were lovely. Cottage had everything we could need and was very clean, warm and comfortable. Very close to the village. Just wish we had more time to enjoy being there.
The Guesthouse is located on the banks of the river in a quaint little village and what a picturesque setting it is: flower-filled planters along the shore as well as adorning nearly all the houseboats! The restaurant also served great food and wine, with a filling, full Irish breakfast and other alternatives
Lovely quiet location on a rural property but just 1 km back to the village. The property was well equipped and fully functional. The hostess was lovely with great instructions on where to find the keys and there was plenty of information on house etiquette. All three beds were very comfortable and cosy. An excellent place for a three day holiday. We loved that the house was sign posted.

-this inn is located in a picturesque village right at the banks of a river with lovely boats and a lot of flowers. Nearby is a sandy river beach with life guards on duty and you can cross a beautiful old bridge to reach the other side of the river

Lovely guesthouse by the water. Village has great pubs but not many restaurants options. Accommodation is simple but nice. Breakfast was super . We would definitely stay again.
Excellent location, close to lots of picturesque towns and villages like Borris and Graiguenamanagh as well as Kilkenny City. Plenty of choice of activities like parks and golf courses. Brandon View has great mountain scenery of its own as well. Rooms are tidy and clean with WiFi and TV. Helen's home cooked Irish breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.
Helen is an excellent host. Made us feel very welcome and gave us tips for the area and an excellent local walk. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Beautiful surrounding scenery, Fabulous breakfast. Lovely lounge area with tea and coffee facilities. Very quiet surrounds which means you have to drive to a nearby village for an evening meal ( around 10 minutes) but not an issue and there are some good restaurants( Waterside was particularly good) and pubs in Graiguenamangh. In summary, a very pleasing place to stay.
