Brilliant location for us and while the weather was on our side I dont think it matters as the cottage is amazing in a brilliant location just outside Ardara with some amazing views. John and his family were super welcoming on our arrival and even had scones and treats waiting ! We also got the low down on the best areas in the vicinity before they departed. We went to beaches during the day like Portnoo only a couple mins away in a car or locally there is Maghera. We also did some sightseeing in our car and there is plenty to see ! The town itself is what you expect from a country town with some nice places to eat and drink. All in all it was one of my favourite stays in Ireland !

I can not think of a better place to stay in Ardara, County Donegal, Ireland. The Atlantic Lodge is absolutely amazing! Totally Awesome on so many levels. The Atlantic Lodge is located on the Main Street in Ardara, County Donegal. It conveniently located to newsagents, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops , post office and a chemist. The Atlantic Lodge is beyond amazing. Besides the fact of it being located on the Main Street in Ardara. The Atlantic Lodge offers amazing rooms. The rooms are very modern. My bathroom was very modern also and had a great shower. The Atlantic Lodge offers great WiFi and an amazing flat screen television. Note you can watch Netflix, Utube and lots of your favorite channels. My bed was so comfortable. My room was very spacious and had very modern furniture. The Atlantic Lodge offers breakfast. Honestly If you love a great breakfast. You will definitely find it at the Atlantic Lodge. All the cereals, eggs, orange juice, bread , jams, marmalade’s , Nutella , bread , milk, teas and coffee are all set up outside in the lobby area. Amazing setup is putting it mildly. You won’t be disappointed! You can make your self a tea and coffee any time during your stay. The Atlantic Lodge provides lovely biscuits also. The Atlantic Lodge is so safe. Make sure you check your messages per your arrival. The owners will send you an amazing detailed message per the procedures of getting into your room and how to get a key! I feel 100 percent safe here.
