From the moment we drove through the archway entrance we were in awe. We were greeted by Michael who walked us through to the mustard drawing room for plunger coffee and tea cake. Michael was happy to answer all our questions on this simply beautiful 1740s home, exquisitely furnished over many years. We stayed in the large four poster bedroom, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was in a closet, so quirky. Breakfast was excellent and served in the beautiful dining room with all the finery you normally see only on display in cabinets. Michael provided us with crockery so that we could sit in the alcove in the beautifully maintained gardens and enjoy a takeaway meal. A midday checkout was very welcome. We enjoyed every moment in this lovely home with charming hosts.
Slane (Near Collon)

Very great location if you look for a quiet and nice place to stay. Daniel was very helpful and even went out finding us an electricity adapter for our european plugs. Coffee and tea provided. Close to the magnificent megalitic sites of Newgrange and Knowes.

We stayed here for the February bank Holiday weekend. One of the very few places in Ireland worth the asking price. I would highly recommend and I would stay here again without hesitation. Our two kids loved it. Valerie was also very accomodating. The rooms are spotless. Thank you for making our stay more like a home away from home.

Great location close to the Slane Castle where we were heading to the concert. Lovely couple running b&b, Yumi generous selection at breakfast table, very clean and comfortable beds, spacious room, very clean, immaculate bathroom with all you need. Great location for several points of interest in County Meath and Louth. Donel was an excellent host, and we had great conversations about motorbikes and the local culture for hours. My room was adequate for the price, and I slept great. I hope to book here again next visit.

I loved the whole house it was so spacious and plenty of space for the little kids to get about and not on top of each other. It was bigger than i thought it would. I loved the rooms they all looked decent sizes and no complaints about them. I had the master room that was so big and lovely. I loved the views we had from the house and how you can walk to the farm you have. The kids loved it. The kitchen was perfect you had all the utensils we would ever need, which was great.
