Great experience! Loved to sleep in the cabin the space was just enough, it was very comfy! The facilities were also nice, we prepared some dinner and had beers with people that were around.

The setting was incredible, an old, remodelled farmhouse that was equal parts charming as comfortable. The bedrooms were cozy, the bathroom amazing, the kitchen had an old feel to it and one could get a sense of old Ireland! I had my morning coffee in the garden listening to the birdsong and sheep. I highly recommend this place; it is perfect for couples or families.
We did the Skellig Michael landing tour the following day which was outstanding!

Great place for a group of 8. Rear facing bedrooms both had ensuites and plenty of bathrooms for the amount of people. House looks out onto the lake and I’m sure on a nice day it’s a lovely spot to sit. Property is a good middle ground for the ring of Kerry! (Just a note to owner - you are out of tea and pepper!)

We had the absolute privilege of spending a few days in Cul Cottage over Easter 2024. Ger and Derarca have created something really special here, allowing people to experience a step back in time on the edge of Ireland. Staying in a 200-year old cottage is, of course, not going to be the same as a modern holiday home...the house has its quirks and that's part of the charm! Bring plenty of fuel for the stove, get cosy and enjoy this very special place.
Absolutely amazing place! The cottage is well equipped, very functional kitchen. The whole place is very welcoming. The sea view guaranteed. Place it's clean and warm. It's a short walk to the village where you can grab a dinner or a drink in the hotel. The communication with the host was very good, they gave us some tips and recommendations. Self check in, very easy instruction.
Lived up to its name as a cosy cottage, very clean and exceptionally well maintained. Great location, we felt right at home during our stay. Probably the best holiday home we have stayed in over recent years.. Peter proved to be an excellent host, very helpful and responded to any questions in a timely manner. Overall an excellent holiday experience.

This lovely old house has all the facilities of a self-catering holiday home. It is very cosy and leaves nothing to wish for. The garden is superb and really special. From just a few steps down to the shore there is a magnificent view across to the mainland.
The proprietor, Peter Cahill, is very helpful and a very nice and likeable person. We were very pleased to meet him.
