The property is easy to find using Google Maps and provided you read the clear instructions provided by the host then you will know which house you are staying at. The room is a good size, nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. The host is very pleasant and helpful. There is a tray outside the room to make tea and coffee, which has a good selection of herbal teabags. There are a few thoughtful toiletries provided in a drawer if you forget your own.
Breakfast isn’t advertised in the listing, and to get something decent a 15 minute drive is required.

The location is excellent with beautiful tranquil views of the island and water from my room which was at the front of the building. Decor was suited to the area. Our host was very attentive. We enjoyed the little balcony sipping Prosecco in the evening after dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Very tasty Irish breakfast prepared with attention to detail, eco eggs, baked tomatoes and delicious sausages. The room was very quiet, with nice view and comfortable bed. We will definitely be coming back to this place.

Wonderful views from the cabin and unmissable vistas from the Carrowkeel Tombs in the Bricklieve mountains. Stylish and spacious for a short stay. Fairy lights and super cosy bedding and soft furnishings and starry night skies make an evening in a treat.

The property is close to the centre of town. Was very clean. Nicely decorated inside. All the facilities you need in the house. Nice comfy beds.
Very well appointed with a distinct country courtyard feel in the heart of an Irish village setting. Facilities were stylish and comfortable with ample parking, with a local shop and friendly pub serving food close by.
Such a funky place to stay. Michael, our host, was delightful and exceedingly knowledgeable about the area. Juno, the dog-in-residence, is adorable (so much so I was tempted to steal her 😂). The room was spotless and the breakfast enough to feed a small army! The pub next door had a great vibe and you got the sense it was a close village. Fabulous!! We were so pleased we chose to stay here instead of the centre of Sligo and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to everyone!
Michael was a great host and very informative about the local village and where to eat as we had our dog with us. The breakfast was fab!! Our little dog slept sound as she loved the under floor heating 😊 Juno the family dog was very friendly
Our host, Mike, serves up a healthy, tasty and multi-choice breakfast. He is an engaging man and gave us excellent suggestions for daytrips in Sligo and Mayo. His written road directions are spot on and made our outings a highlight of our time in Ireland. The yard and garden behind the Coach House are lovely and form an oasis of quiet and calm, and the same can be said of the village of Ballintogher. And Mike's dog, Juno, is as sweet as they come. She won us over as soon as we met her.
Not easy to find - a sign outside the property would help.
Host managed to get us a dinner reservation in the local pub otherwise we'd have gone hungry as the pub is the only place serving food in this tiny village
The coachouse is an oasis in between expensive hotels and few airbnbs. Don't let the high reviews put you off, they're justified as the coachouse met and exceeded our expectations. Our host Michael was very friendly, welcoming and kind. He also made us up delicious breakfast including fresh everything, fruit, coffee, croissants, porridge. The accommodation was comfortable and to a high standard. The location is very quiet, but in a small village so you can wander across the road for supplies or a tipple.
