I booked Heather House on short notice and everything worked out perfectly. You have your own appartment with fridge with free coffee and tea available. A very good eakfast can be had in the restaurant next door. It lookee like the apartment would be next to the main road on the map, but it was next to a pretty secluded and quiet garden

The house was large and had a lot of character and charm. It was in beautiful surroundings. In a village with everything we needed for a family break. Large bathrooms and living areas. A stunning kitchen had everything wee needed including an AGA cooker. A large family living room with a massive TV and wood burner. The Host, Lisa was lovely, she checked we had everything and was helpful with finding things to do in the area. The house had absolutely everything we needed and included all the extras that make a family trip less stressful. Lisa kindly had milk and other necessities in for us arriving. We had a relaxing family break that both kids and adults throughly enjoyed. We can’t wait to visit again. The kids didn’t want to leave.

Walkable location to park and hiking area which was very convenient since we didn’t have a car. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cabins were clean and very comfy and all the amenities were very clean as well. Lovely place to stay, we had a wonderful time!

What an amazing stay! the hosts are very kind, the area is quiet and the stars at night are spectacular because there is no light pollution. It´s not only a stay but an experience. Going back to the basics with no water tap or electric in the trailer. Checking in is not only getting a key but also an explanation how to fire up a gas lamp. All the sanitary facilities is what you expect from a campsite.
