The location of Dragonfly lodge is perfect for exploring the waterfalls and Mt. Rinjani. You can wake up with a beautiful sunset. Big plus is that they also help you with your Rinjani trek by providing an early breakfast. The room was very clean, there is enough hot water for a warm shower and the beds were really comfortable! The staff was nice and helpful. The owner of the lodge is also very nice and helpful. He was so kind to transfer us all the way to Kuta for a very reasonable price.

This is a good value lodge. Spectacular views to the east and the gorge where the waterfalls are (although you can’t see them from here, but you can see paddyfields), with spectacular views of Mount Rinjani particularly early morning before the cloud sets in. We booked a deluxe bungalow which was very spacious with partial outside bathroom, set in beautiful gardens with lots of viewing platforms (which were not particularly suitable for children given the low safety rails). TV and fridge in the room and coffee making facilities. The property has lovely infinity swimming pools (including one open to the public if you dine or drink at the lodge). Very friendly and helpful staff (which we have found all over Lombok) and very good local evening food, with beer available at eateries but also at some of the local stores. Breakfast was tasty, although note that coffee choice is either Nescafe or Lombok coffee, the latter being very strong! The lodge is very close to one of the entrances to the waterfalls and the walk down and up is not too strenuous. We did the panorama walk with the waterfalls with a local company called “Rinjani Women Adventure” who I would strongly recommend as they support the local community and ensuring females are in the workplace. Would definitely return to Rinjani Lodge if we returned to Senaru.

Good size villa in Senaru. Two rooms, bedroom and lounge area plus bathroom . Outside balcony with seating and nice views of Mountain. Bed comfortable. Warm water for shower. Restaurant on site. Staff friendly and welcoming. Only 5 min drive to waterfall carpark. Wifi initially wasn't running until staff gave me token with password. After that it was ok, sometimes dropping out for a few minutes. Parking for my car in front of room.

The place is nice, the garden is beautiful. The room is a simple room but it's OK. The water was hot. When I arrived they offered me coffee / tea and when I left they offered me a lunch to take away. The breakfast is simple but OK. The owner helped me driving me to the restaurant at night because it's pretty dark here. He brang me to sunset and ceremony for indépendant day. He is very helpful and kind

The staff is super friendly. If you are a solo traveller with your own motorbike, this is a great place to stay. There is a shared area where people eat, and the staff make sure everyone interacts, they play games and music too. If you want to sleep and peace and quiet at night, keep in mind that this is not an accommodation for you. You will find breakfast, lunch and dinner options in the accommodation 😊👍 The place is beautiful, but it's in the middle of nature, so be aware that you could find little animals inside the room (in our case, a lizard at night and a big spider in the morning)

All of the staff were really friendly and lovely. It all made our stay special and amazing. Anyar, especially, was an absolute legend of a driver/host. Remote but get true feeling of rural Lombok. Commutable to viewpoints and beautiful waterfalls (Tiu Kelep, etc). New buildings are being built which look very nice!
