Nice location, the private beach was nice. nice room and good breakfast.

Szem's Guesthouse quickly became one of our favorite places to stay. It’s genuinely one of the most comfortable accommodations we’ve ever experienced, and the sense of relaxation we felt there is something we can’t emphasize enough. What We Loved: - The house is located on a quiet street shaded by towering chestnut and pine trees, providing a peaceful and serene environment. - Parking is free and conveniently located on the street under the trees. - The house’s courtyard features stunning pathways lined with flowers, also shaded by the majestic chestnuts and pines, creating a tranquil outdoor space. - Each room opens up to large terraces furnished with tables, plants, and flowers — perfect for evening conversations with friends over a glass of wine. - This place is ideal for groups of families, with or without children; we can’t imagine a more relaxing spot. - For those who enjoy grilling, there’s a designated barbecue area that adds to the charm of this guesthouse. - The hosts were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in late due to traffic and providing an early check-out as well. - The house is just 300 meters from the lake and 200 meters from the town center, which is bustling with terraces offering delicious meals for all tastes and budgets (including the largest wienerschnitzel on the planet 🙂). Szem's Guesthouse offers a unique blend of comfort, hospitality, and natural beauty, making it a perfect retreat in Balatonszemes. Hotel, facilities, room

Single room was great. Small but all you need with airco and own bathroom/toilet. Very clean. The hosts were very nice and although i only speak a bit of German (and no Hungarian) communication was no problem.

We loved our stay! The host, Bea, is very friendly, informative and helpful ❤️ She speaks very good English, the apartment is bright, clean amd super comfy. There is a nice patio with a barbecue, which was lovely. It's very close to a beach. We highly recommend it!

Absolutely FANTASTIC place! Super nice and friendly host. Great location, 2 min from Balaton lake and beach. Extra equipped apartments with everything you need (including toster). Great gardę with swimming pool and stuff for kids.

Perfect. Above average furnished 2+1 apartment with terrace. Nothing was missing at all. Ideal for a family holiday (300 m from the beach sa marina, restaurant and bakery next door). Private pool in the property. Large terrace with jacuzzi. Also suitable for the business meetings we had there.
