Halkidio House is lovely - it looks to be an old house that has been fully modernised and well decorated. We had no problems with the WiFi - it all worked perfectly, The air conditioning was great - we gave it a blast when it got a bit hot. We took a dip in the pool every morning and then took a cup of tea on to the roof-top to warm up and admire the amazing views. The BBQ area on the ground floor was clean and well equipped. The gated parking space was definitely an added bonus - easy to park the car and load/unload after a beach day. Great location for visiting the area - a very short distance to Matala and other beaches and sights. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, if you don't want to drive. Fantasic hosts with helpful and very friendly communication.

- very lovely house! quiet and in a rural area but modern and elegant - the garden is amazing, with enough place for sunbathing, dining and chilling - there was water, juice, lots of fresh fruits and even a homemade cake for us when we arrived. Quite good after the drive! - the house has everything one might need; from a coffee maker to a smart TV, sandwich maker, microwave oven and all spices, coffees, teas, .. - the host is very friendly - free parking right next to the house - good location in Sivas, the centre and tavernas are in less than 5 minutes walking distance - good location overall, you are in 10 to 15 minutes to Kommos and Matala beaches

The owner Georgia and her mother were extremely kind and helpful during our stay. We were welcomed with a self made cake, fruits and water in the fridge which was great! The house is very beautiful and secluded from other buildings, with very nice balconies and well equipped kitchen with everything you might need for cooking. Wifi was very fast and the air conditioners worked very well in the hot weather in August. Modern bathroom with a new washing machine. I definitely recommend this house to everyone who wants a peaceful vacation in the region of Matala. Much better option than the noisy Matala town and you have privacy. Thank you!!

An ideal place for those who do not like resorts and commercial leisure. Nice hostess. Beautiful house, superbly equipped. Great table in the kitchen. From the three balconies a wonderful view of the mountains and olive groves. Twice a day sheep parade in front of the windows. In the morning we were woken up by roosters, sheep, guinea fowl, which was lovely. There are taverns and a shop in the nearby village. The sandy and almost empty beach in Komos is 6 km away. This is our sixth stay in Crete and one of the better hotels.
