This was our second stay at Eleanna Nature and Art. Everything was as perfect as last year. The location is excellent; close to the centre, but in an elevated position three minutes walk away from the main promenade with all the restaurants. The beach at Ilangas is a very short drive away (see photo) .

We were delighted to be at Hotel Starvis. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in the center of Sfakia, near the port, the restaurants, the beach and boats to Loutro, Glyka Nera, etc… The room was perfectly equipped with a fridge, heating plates, bathroom, Air conditioning… yes it’s old equipment but when you pay less than 50€/night you cannot expect for more. THIS IS NOT A LUXURY HOTEL, it’s a friendly hotel for simple people that want to enjoy Creete as it is and not to stay locked up in their room.

These apartments are situated exactly in front of the beach. Our apartment was very clean and modern. Space is a bit small for 4 people but the location and sea view made up for it. Staff were also very welcoming. There is a restaurant exactly in front of property and various mini markets near the property.

Excellent, quiet, private, big and relaxing place to stay. Very clean. Great contact with the host. The house has a lovely view of the mountains. Beautiful garden with the view at the olives trees. Great restaurant Platanos is within walking distance of the house. In the fiiendly village there is also an amazing observation point towards the sea, there is the starting point for the long, seashore walk to Loutro. Highly recommended!
A charming, new, well-equipped house in a cute little village. The house is very clean and aesthetic. The house has a lovely view of the mountains. There is a beautiful yard with grass and an outdoor shower. It is a short drive from the beaches. A good restaurant is within walking distance of the house. In the village there is also an amazing observation point towards the sea (you can reach it on foot or by car). Highly recommended!
Clean and comfortable apartment with spacious terrace and great views. Away from all the tourist crowds, yet close to the village with a few restaurants, bakery and grocery shop. Ideally located for beautiful walks in the area.
We loved the Cretan mountains and it is a great spot for hiking (just 5min ride to Aradena Canyon). It is located in the center of a small quiet village, with very good taverns and a small mini market. The food in the tavern was great. The staff were nice and helpful.
Lovely family run rooms in the middle of the village with excellent food and service. The room was large and had great views over the village and mountains from the private terrace. Everything was very clean and well maintained with a nice atmosphere as a focal point for the comings and goings of the locals.
Very characteristic place that makes you live the true experience of a Cretan village without overlooking comforts. Both dinner and breakfast were very pleasant. The host was super nice and attentive
This was our favourite place that we stayed at in Crete. It was excellent value for money. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and made using local produce. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. And the place is located in a lovely peaceful village in the mountains. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the place more and sample more of the excellent menu.
Authentic place with simple but everything you need rooms. We loved the restaurant, great food, very nice owners and the terrace is very enjoyable. The village is a really nice surprise, quiet and traditional, nothing touristy like hora skafion. We would totally come again!
