The food in the tavern was DELICIOUS! It is run by a family, from grandpa to grandson, and they are all more than kind. The view from the room was also great (sea & mountain). 10 min walk to Preveli Beach. The surrounding area was also great, especially the centuries old olive yards. Next to it is a small market where you can find all the necessary stuff. Small beach in front, but I would recommend to go either to Preveli or, if by car, to some other beaches nearby. Nice terrace as well. Again, the tavern and the hospitality of the owners are great! Also the location and again, the people.

Brand new very solid and high-quality construction, excellent kitchen with full set of cooking utensils and a high-tech electric stove, great bathroom with a state-of-the-art mini-washing machine. Staff were very responsive, via WhatsApp, with help finding the location and helping me operate the washing machine.

This villa is placed right on the most beautiful coastline I think have seen in Europe. Few steps down to an almost private beach, beautiful clean pool. Short drive to gorgeous tavernas. I went running every morning on nice country roads hugging the coast. Hosts were incredible, were there in minutes when we had an issue with the lock. Ligres beach taverna is a must. If you have only been to the north side of Crete, it’s highly recommended to visit the south, so wild and beautiful.

Stavros and Vicky have managed to capture a piece of paradise! The setting of the taverna is spectacular and the food is fantastic. Everything is freshly prepared and many of the ingredients come from their own garden, the olives from their trees. The room and furnishings were perfectly adequate - we loved our stay.

The property and location is spectacular. The pool lovely. Facilities excellent. Bedrooms all have a spacious balcony and own ensuite. We didn't use the sauna but no doubt that is excellent also. Laundry was well equipped. Even the knives were sharp - a real bonus at any rental property and much appreciated as we did a fair bit of our own catering and utilising the BBQ.
