This is a gorgeous villa with an incredible view. The property was well looked after and well equipped by island standards. There was food and snacks in the fridge ready for us upon arrival, the staff were helpful and accommodating, and the location is high up in the hills which means it's quite and peaceful.

The house is a short walk from the port which is nice because you're away from the hustle and bustle and noise. The walk is mostly uphill but it's only about .5 mi. and there is also partial shade when you walk during the heat of the day. The house is spacious, has 2 balconies on the 2nd floor with beautiful views of the water, and it was very clean when we arrived. We arrived before check-in time so Ioannis arranged for us to leave our luggage in the house while we walked to the port to get something to eat. When we were ready to check in Ioannis met us at the house to give us instructions about everything and also how to work the AC and the washing machine (he supplied the soap too). There were ample supplies in the house - the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, coffee, and several water bottles in the fridge; there were extra bottles of shower gel and other toiletries in the bathroom; and plenty of towels. Ioannis was extremely helpful - he called to check on us to be sure we had everything we needed and gave us tips about restaurants and beaches. Bonus - one of the best restaurants on the Island (Pachni) is just around the corner from the house! I give Ioannis a 5 star rating all around!

The Vangelis Traditional House is the perfect place for vacations in Spetses. The house offers all the facilities for a very enjoyable and pleasant stay. It is very close to the kosmopolitan beach of Agia Marina and to the picteresque old Port of Spetses (Tarsanas) and 7 min. walk from the centre! Vangelis is a very warm person and a very pleasant and extremely helpful host! I am looking forward to staying soon in Vangelis Traditional house!
