I was looking for a fast reset, sleep and clean air. The medieval look is just the beginning. Be ready to experience life as it was half a century ago, waking up with the rooster and the occasional bells from the passing sheep. I slept between 8 and 11 hours! every night without interruptions (besides a few mosquitoes). The place itself inspires contemplation and reflection, good for a personal "reset" moment. For me one of the highlights is also to meet the variety of people who come to places like these. Gabriella is a natural connector who enjoys a good conversation in multiple languages -and she's also a great cook!

It was a really nice place with amazing hosts. The host offered us some wine, cheese, tomatoes from their garden, and some bread. They even offered us to take us to the bus stop because I was pregnant. Very friendly service.

The apartment itself serves its purposes, it has all you need if you want to cook, make coffee, do laundry and iron clothes. Aircons in both rooms worked well. Water pressure in the shower is good. We found a foldable baby cot in the closet that was not mentioned which was nice. And there was a little bit of laundry detergent abailable + there is a drying rack at the patio. Also there is a private parking spot right in front of the house where you can park your car. Note that this rental unit is the upper floor of a 2-storey house: the ground floor of this house is a separate rental unit so the garden mentioned in the description belongs more to the ground floor guests, their seating and outside dining area are in the middle of the garden so it actually feels like intruding going down there.

I slept here for 4 nights and it was just wonderful. A special place: warm, hospitable, personal with a typical traveller atmosphere. They cook delicious food, if you want you can join for a normal price. The garden is nice and serene. And the sea is very close! The room was simple and that was just great: simplicity. Staff extremely helpful, especially the lovely lady who came to the rescue when the corkscrew broke; a pair of pliers and a replacement corkscrew later and we were able to sit down and eat/drink.

We had a very warm welcome from Maria, the room ws a good size tastefully decorated and perfectly located for our first night in crete. Close parking for free at the shopping centre was a bonus and took a lot of stress away.

Beautiful villa with a fabulous pool. Wonderful views from the house and pool. Very spacious accommodation with plenty of comfortable seating both inside and outside encouraging you to chill and relax. House is really well equipped with everything that you might need to make your stay comfortable. Lots of the basics provided for cooking, laundry and cleaning so you don't need to go out and buy things that you would normally have at home. Hosts were very welcoming and always available to assist, if needed.
The setting and finishes on the villa were amazing. The service was also incredible and they were on hand for anything and everything that we could need.
