Comfortable second floor room in a historic mansion in Milies. It is less than 5 minutes' walk (uphill) to the main square, which is where a lot of the restaurants, shops and the bus stop to Volos is located. It is also about 15 minutes' walk (downhill) to the train station, where you can take the historic train to Ano Lechonia. The hotel has a lovely common area on the second floor where you can sit and enjoy great views of the Pagasetic Gulf. Ioanna was welcoming and helpful, and also served up an excellent breakfast.

Fell in love with this town and the Filippidi Mansion. Heartwarming hospitality by the owner and the staff. Breakfast with local products and pies! Felt like we are part of the history of this area while staying in this restored building from the late 1800's! We used it as a base for driving with our car to many villages and beaches in Pilion. We just loved our stay in this very nicely decorated, perfectly equipped and spotless clean house! It has one large terrace on the ground floor and one balcony on the upper, both are very privatly. We much enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace while overlooking the hills and the sea. The communication with our host was very easy.
Milies is a nice little village with some good restaurants. The surroundings are beautiful and a trip with the little Pilion-Train is lots of fun.

Popi is the nicest host, she showed us the beautiful path to the town center and we enjoyed talking with her and hearing from her about life in pilion.
Her breakfast was very good and home made, the room was comfortable and clean.
Finding the way for the first time isn't easy but it's worth it, don't miss the walk in the village to get to the village center, and the water at the end of the road :)
