This was our second stay here; our first trip was midweek in a much more spacious room. This time we struggled with the tiny lift and really small room. But we could have coped if it wasn’t for the noise from the road; kept us awake to 4am then woken at 6am with a fight outside. We have recommended this venue as a great stop over arriving in Kalamata but we would not stay here at the weekend again.

Breakfast was fantastic (even for a vegan like myself) with lots of local products and specialties thoughtfully described by the kind owner.
The accommodation overlooks the ancient site and it's a 500m walk to the road that leads to the entrance. There is one tavern in the village which is only 2 minutes away on foot. The room was spacious, comfortable and with good lighting !
Beautiful rustic building of wood and stone very warm welcome from Maria, generous breakfast with delicious homemade produce. The charming mountain village is quiet in the off season, perfect for seeing the spectacular ruins of Messene. We loved it.
Perfect small hotel for me. The room was cozy with wood floors, stone walls, a comfortable bed, good WiFi. Excellent location for visiting sites in the area as I like a quiet place in a small village. I would even stay here to visit Kalamata. The breakfast buffet was very good with many local products to choose from. I arrived late in the day so street parking was easy. Short walk to a good restaurant overlooking Ancient Messini.
Very good location and very kind hostess replying immediately and helping to solve issues. Villa has a nice private garden and just a couple of meters from the beach.
There was an amazing view from the balcony to the village and the archaeological site. The shower was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast is just delicious. The staff was very nice and helpful. Very easy to get to the archaeological site and to the museum.
The Villa was spacious and clean. Comfy lounges, great kitchen and good beds. The host welcomed us and made sure our stay was comfortable. I recommend this place highly.

A small village on the slope of a mountain with a magnificent view of the archeological site of ancient Messene. The inn is a VERY beautiful little gem, arranged and furnished with great taste and managed with the utmost kindness by Maria. A particular mention for the breakfast: too bad we had just one belly each to fill. Top-notch hospitality. Thanks.
