Renovated old apartments in a very convenient location situation about ten mins walk from the old city and just down the road from the beach.
The reception staff were general friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the showers were really nice.

Cute little hotel in the mountains, ideal for checking out the beaches during the day and sleeping in the mountains (where it’s cooler) in the night. The hotel is very clean and everyone is super kind. Maria was very helpful and had lots of good recommendations for beaches with kids. The hotel is in a cute little village where we went for evening walks and ate in different tavernas every night. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend it.
Cleverly restored house in the centre of a pretty village. Beautifully done and an absolute pleasure to stay here.
Possibly useful advice:
If you arrive by car, make sure to drive into the village on the main road until you arrive at the kafenio in the centre of town. The house is about 50m directly above along a steep and narrow alley. Take the lower of the two double doors to access the front courtyard.
A lovely place in a quiet village in the mountains. The view is beautiful, the swimming pool is very pleasant, and there are great possibilities of hikes and visits in the region. The rooms are simple but nice with great views and a balcony. The host, Maria is great and very helpful, and makes you feel really at home. Breakfast is also very good.
Elia is where we stay when we visit Meronas. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is a real asset to this beautiful village in one of the most beautiful areas of Crete. Amenities include a very nice pool and patio area with a bar and small restaurant. Would certainly recommend to anyone traveling in Amari. Parking is right next to the hotel, very convenient. The village is wonderfully quiet at night.
The hotel is located in an adorable, calm village in the mountains and there is a wonderful view from the windows, balconies, and the pool. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Evelina was very nice and polite and always there to help us.

Merona is a charming village, the amari valley and the surrounding area is very beautiful. Welcome basket that waited us in the kitchen contained all kind of goodies and fridge was quite full too. House was spacious, comfortably and colorfully decorated.
