The house and the view are extraordinary beautiful. I have seen a lot of hotels and Airbnb’s, but this lovely villa is so well build with so much attention and love - never seen before. Very, very nice interior as well. Very clean and they have thought of everything that you could need. What made our stay on forgettable is the best host (Kitsa) ever!!! She is extremely friendly, helpful, funny…and feels immediately as a good friend. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back. Thank you so much for feeling at home like this, Kitsa! An old traditional house completely renovated and with all modern facilities ( AC, washing machine, big frige with freezer, stovetop, oven), spotlessly clean. Here, you will find all you need: a very quiet location in a short distance from taverns, a good point to start exploring South Crete beaches, a charming and very comfortable accomodation with amazing sea view. The hosts are friendly and very discreet. We had a very good comunication with Eirini, she gives us information about main attractions of the area. Thank you Eirini, we would like to stay again if we come in the area!

Unique view and privacy. The house is absolutely secluded on the hill, with incredible view - sea, mountains (Psiloritis included) and the plateau of Messara with its villages and olive grooves. The house is beautifully constructed of stone and there is large, fenced space around - easy to park a car (or more than one). Large, deep pool with all this fantastic view. Very friendly dogs on the neighbouring plot (property of the same owners).

Lovely peaceful spot . lots of privacy, beautiful views. Interesting house and reasonable sized pool. Friendly, well behaved cats ( part of the Cretan experience)but don't feed them if you're not keen on their company

great value for price. very large only 2 min by foot to town centre with some relaxed restaurants at the town square. washing machine and all kitchen equipment one would need is there. private pool with a cool fountain and nice lighting in the evening. also very large rooftop with sun all day long and a nice Pavillon to chill under.

The owner Georgia and her mother were extremely kind and helpful during our stay. We were welcomed with a self made cake, fruits and water in the fridge which was great! The house is very beautiful and secluded from other buildings, with very nice balconies and well equipped kitchen with everything you might need for cooking. Wifi was very fast and the air conditioners worked very well in the hot weather in August. Modern bathroom with a new washing machine. I definitely recommend this house to everyone who wants a peaceful vacation in the region of Matala. Much better option than the noisy Matala town and you have privacy. Thank you!!

Pessima esperienza in questa struttura. Accolti da una gentile e attempata signora che al di fuori del greco ahimè non biascica una sola parola d’inglese (o altro idioma), ci accorgiamo che - nonostante avessi prenotato un appartamento di 55m2 - veniamo infilati in una stanzetta con angolo cottura e micro bagno. Metratura nemmeno un terzo di quella pagata. Al secondo giorno, il dramma: la porta della stanza viene inavvertitamente chiusa, con noi tre all’esterno. Scopriamo così in diretta che, in assenza di maniglia, con le chiavi all’interno, è impossibile con metodi ortodossi rientrare nella stanza (l’unica finestra/feritoia si affaccia sul tetto ed è protetta da sbarre di metallo). La signora si prodiga nel chiamare il loro fabbro di riferimento, che arriva dopo una ventina di minuti. 2 secondi di lavoro (fa scorrere una lastra nella fessura della porta, facendo “scattare” la serratura), mi guarda e con la faccia da quel posto dove non batte il sole mi fa in greco: 50€. Nell’indifferenza, o semplicemente nell’indolenza giustificata dall’età, della proprietaria, nell’assenza di personale che possa assistere (e perché no, tutelare) in un linguaggio comune l’incauto villeggiante che si avventura in questo paesino sperduto senza infamia e senza lode, scopriamo che l’atto di chiudere una porta (badate bene, nessuno ci aveva avvertito sul poco ingegnoso meccanismo) viene etichettato come nostra colpa esclusiva, e ad un prezzo fuori dal mercato greco, si trasforma in abuso del turista straniero. Dopo lungo tira e molla e mia somma “arrabbiatura”, il prezzo scende vertiginosamente a 20€, cifra che pago. Successivamente a questo episodio, vista l’incomunicabilità, decido di contattare Booking e chiedo che - dopo un’ultima nottata - mi vengano restituiti i soldi delle successive tre notti.
