Such a lovely atmospheric village! The room was quite special ... lots of character. The garden was lively too, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony having a drink. They were going to supply breakfast as a bonus, but we had to leave by 8:30am, unfortunately.

We’ve been touring Northern Greece on motorbikes for a week, staying in a mix of accommodation that have all been good, but Matzato was exceptional. The hosts were friendly and helpful, offering great advise on local attractions, the room was spacious and comfortable with a fabulous view over the rooftops of the village and the surrounding valleys, off road parking was a bonus. The breakfast was varied and delicious, for me the feta was the best we’d had in Greece.
Centrally located in Tsepelovo, the stone-built Villa Paroraia is set in a restored 18th-century mansion and features a bar.

This is a beautifully renovated pristine set of rooms with hand painted ceilings and lovely bathrooms. Location is steps from an excellent taverna, the Epirus walking trail to Astraka hut, and the village park lot - yet it is very quiet. Dimitrios was a wonderful host, helping us clarify our hiking trail, giving us food for our packed lunches, bringing us afternoon coffee and cakes on the pretty garden patio Breakfast is plentiful and coffee is good. We now recommend this place to other walkers.

Great location and the stuff is very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the outdoor space beautiful.
Dhimitra was very caring and made a lot of efforts to accommodate us as first guests of the season. The breakfast was plenty and featured a very good Greek coffee. Koukouli is a good starting point for hikes in the area. Had we come 1 week later, we could've enjoyed restaurants in the village.
Everything was great! The owner was super helpful and friendly. They cleaned our room every day and offered us breakfast with coffee and traditional pie! The hospitality was incredible! The village was quiet, beautiful and pure, not touristic at all, and the location was perfect to explore the nearby villages, routes and famous bridges of the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would be happy to come again!
