It was an excellent place to stay that looks out towards the sea and is very close to the beach for some good swimming - clear water, pebble beach nearer the house and some sand a short walk along. The house and beach face West so there are lovely evening sunsets, and it's also sunny during the day. We were welcomed by the friendly owners on arrival. The house is very well and nicely equipped with everything you could want or need on holiday in Salamina. It is also very peaceful there. The house has a good terrace to eat at. There are fig and lemon trees in the garden. There is a tasty taverna by the beach. Kanakia is a good destination by car from Athens - easy to get to with regular short distance ferries that you don't need to book in advance. Once you arrive in Salamina you drive over a tree-lined mountain route to get to Kanakia and the house on the beach - an excellent place to stay.

We were staying on the top floor apartment with a big balcony. I have to admit it is a very elegant villa. Beautiful views of the horizont day and night... it is a stay in the between of sea, sky, mountains and stars. Perfect location if you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere without noise. I love every single moment of my stay...my teenager daughter enjoyed as well very much and she did not say it was boring. I rested so so much! A WiFi is good if you need to work a bit. There are very minimal turists around you can meet on the beach , maybe just a few. A beach is nice, cristal clean water, stones are over around in the beach and some in the sea, but it is beautiful beach with beautiful view. Probably you have to have shoes for swimming just for comfort. Taxi can help you to reach distances to the shop and bring you back. Nikos taxi +306983059050 (viber/what's up) driver speaks english and he will help his best manner if you will need transport to the shop/ transfer. I would advise you to do a food shopping on the arrival to the Salamina as it saves your time and money if you need a taxi again and again. Or otherwise it is a bus once in an hour if you want. Good food quality and delicious assortments in the the local shops. Local people are very nice and friendly. Very kind welcome and hospitality from wonderful people who runs this elegant place. Mrs Litsa is a very pleasant and enjoyable host. The room was recently renovated, clean and very aesthetically pleasing! We loved it! It was very comfortable! Mrs Litsa also provided us with some toothpaste since it was Sunday and everything was closed so we could brush our teeth!
