Dimitra was a kind host, the place is cute, clean and pretty,it’s perfect for cosy vacation. The place is two minutes away from the beach, there’s also a bus stop nearby. In my opinion it’s def better than a hotel. 100% recommend

Spacious, comfortable house with character. Lovely terrace and pool area with plenty of shade if wanted. Very well equipped and nice welcome pack with essentials, pool towels etc. Restaurants, beach and bars on doorstep. Check-in and check out was straightforward and hassle free.

All the staff were outstanding in their approach to service and we felt valued staying at the property. Any requests were handled and dealt with straight away. Breakfasts were buffet style and a wide enough range for everyone, freshly cooked and delicious!
The onsite restaurant has a spectacular view and the food amazing, with a good choice.
Sea view room had a great view of Souda Bay and the mountains.
Rooms were clean and the grounds were very well looked after and tidied on a regular basis.

Where to start? First of all, the location right by the beach feels like a dream. A few steps and you can have your morning swim in the sea, how great is that! Kalyves is a wonderful little place to relax and sunbath for a week (or two!), unfortunately I stayed only a few days. The Apartments themselves are light and airy, well designed and a wonderful place to holiday in. Self-catering, but several big water bottles were provided, which came in very handy. Another reviewer wrote, “everything works at Garifalo”, and that describes it just to the point. The hosts are absolutely amazing in the way how they keep everything up to a high standard, simple, down to earth, but just perfect! Some good mini markets, local shops, and pharmacies — as well as the bus stop — not even five walking minutes inland from Garifalo, and same distance along the beach to quite a few beachfront tavernas and restaurants. I was given an Appartement with a sew view, a balcony AND a terrace, and I can strongly recommend it. Lovely morning light too. Last but not least, Irina and her husband are the best hosts you could wish for — welcoming, professional and kind. They allowed me to check out late, which saved a very sunny day! And yes, I definitely want to come back.

1.The lady owner was super nice and very friendly, and so helpful when you ask her about something, gave us good tips and made sure we have everything we asked for.
2.The room view is very nice, you can enjoy your morning coffee looking at the sea.

Erodios Apartments are located in a very quiet area of Kalives even though it is very close to the centre of the village. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfy! We loved having two balconies!
There are great views over the village towards the sea and of the white mountains in the opposite direction. Francois was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
This was our second time staying at this property and everything was perfect. The rooms are immaculately clean and bedding and towels were changed three times during our five night stay. The apartments are ideally situated at the edge of the village being a short walk from the supermarket and beach in one direction and the centre of Kalyves in the other. We look forward to returning again in the future.
Ismini apartments has a fantastic location, the front of the building steps out into the village and the back has a beautiful lawn and a path directly to the beach. Inside the property is traditionally furnished with lovely comfortable beds and a stunning view from the bedrooms. Ismini the host was wonderful, and responded extremely quickly with anything we needed.
The villa is beautiful and well maintained. There were a few minor issues, the shower heads that were in the one of upstairs rooms weren't fully secured and there was something covered in one of the rooms. Everything else was perfect though.
