The house was what we needed. It is between the nearby beaches, easy to reach. The patio and the 2 bathrooms are a big plus. There are tavernas with traditional food, if you want to eat outside

My recent stay at this charming wooden cottage nestled in the tranquil Cretan countryside was nothing short of idyllic. Set away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the usual tourist spots, it offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. The attractions and the sea are conveniently reachable, ensuring that you are not too isolated from the vibrant local life. The cottage itself, though compact, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an exceptionally cozy place to live. Each morning and evening, I had the pleasure of dining outdoors in the garden, enjoying meals while gazing out at the rolling hills dotted with olive groves and the distant sea—pure bliss. The outdoor fire pit added a rustic touch to my evenings, perfect for grilling local produce under the starlit sky. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the alfresco cold-water shower, which provided a refreshing and almost ethereal experience under the moon's glow. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, eager to share their knowledge of the area and point out hidden gems that enhanced my visit.

The house was fully equipped with eveything you need. Very big sleeping room, very big balcony. The view was great: sitting in the jacuzzi and enjoying the sunset was a special experience....The only thing you heard was an owl. The host is very friendly and helpfull ( and very active). The boiler did not work at arrival, but was repaired/replaced within 24 hours.

Host is a treasure :) what else do you need? Honestly, we are returning customers. And we will be back probably. This is our favorite location for relaxing stay on Crete. Peace, quite and 4 perfect beaches in range (Paleochora, Falasarna, Elafonisi, Agio Apostoli - every one in more/less the same distance/time travel). This is perfect match for our need and preferences. And then near byRotonta Cafe - tavern with delicious fresh meals in very reasonable prices!

Highly recommended!!! Come to this place, it's the best 🌸☺️🏠🌿🪴 The accommodation is really comfortable, intimate, minimal but with everything you need (including hair dryer, toilet for kids, washing machine, iron). The wardrobe is spacious and I could organise well my stuff as I had a tight schedule and needed to arrange my clothing and change of clothes easily in the morning. The location in the garden Is wonderful, you're surrounded by flowers and trees and it's like being in a huge garden shared with other apartments and people. Peaceful and quite but you don't feel alone. The owner is really kind and generous, they helped me with a towel I had to wash and they hang it for me, cause I was outside all day and I needed to return it dry. I really appreciated it. I met the grandma who's been really warm though she couldn't speak English, she showed us her treasure memories of her family and tradition. Such an amazing experience I will treasure in my heart. Grateful to Batilas family. The last day was my birthday and it was the best place to celebrate it. Happy memories. I'll try to come back again in the future. So dear traveler, go for it! 🍃🤗
