Beautiful property and spotlessly clean! Great communication before and throughout our stay from the lovely host. Halfway between the port and the old town so within walking distance to restaurants/amenities and things to see. We had a double room with a sea view which gave us a lovely panorama over the port/sea and a nice balcony.

Dimitris was so helpful and accommodating with a late check out and luggage storage. Location is a very quiet neighbourhood yet only 5 minutes from everything Ermoupoli has to offer. Very good value for money.

Would highly recommend staying here! Very friendly and attentive staff, and an excellent location (right by the ferry port and bus stops).
This is a slightly quieter part of town, but you're still very close to the action if you want to be. The room was modern and beautifully furnished, and also very clean. We received a hamper with local food upon arrival which was lovely. The property also provided us with an excellent list of local restaurants, many of which we tried and which were all amazing. The bathroom was huge and felt very luxurious, and included lots of special details. The airconditioning worked very well, and I saw that the apartment also had central heating so it would probably be very cosy here in winter as well!
As we are young we didn't mind the staircase down to the bathroom and toilet (this was a feature specific to our room, the 1864) - however, this might be something to be aware of if you're older and have a lot of difficulty with steps. For us the staircase added to the charm of the apartment, as it meant that the bathroom was on an entirely different floor. It almost felt like we were staying in a house!
I also noticed that reviews for the other rooms were impressed by the soundproofing - our room was a bit noisier because it was right in front of a parking spot for motorbikes, so there was occasional noise when someone would leave or arrive. We didn't find this annoying, but if you're a very light sleeper you may prefer to book one of the other rooms at the property.
I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Harbour View Holiday Home. We really felt at home here after staying for 5 nights. It is very conveniently located beside the harbour and a short walk from the port. There is supermarket very close by as well as many restaurants/bars. The balcony is huge and the view is fabulous. The host was truly amazing, she really went above and beyond for us…even gave us a homemade pie❤️ I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Syros!
Wonderful old Villa close to the centre. Kosta met us at the square to help with the luggage - Syros is hilly and has a lot of stairs!! We also got plenty of good recommendations for beaches, restaurants etc.
Our room (seaview) was nicely decorated and had a wonderful small balcony with table and chairs. Cold water available in the common kitchen. Breakfast was also nice.

Rooms are beautifully decorated and exude charm. Housekeeping very good. Spotlessly clean and tidy every day. There is also a stunning shared living room and a rooftop to soak in the ambiance. However, your experience may vary depending on the room you are assigned. Enjoy swimming at Asteria Beach right at your doorstep. Free parking is available about 400 meters away.
Villa Maria is a little treasure located in the centre of Ermoupolis. Kostas and Eliza restored an old villa with many love into every detail. Our room was big, beautifully furnitured and had everything we needed. It was such a pleasure to stay here!
Perfect location - out of the fray but close to the action. The villa is beautiful and the art work made every corner intriguing. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. The Aristide is a gem.

- The location is great (of course there are some stairs to climb but this is Syros!) - Don't take the car in busy periods, it has many two way streets that fit only one car
