The house is exceptional. It was all you can think of and more. We called our host who picked us up. The jacuzzi was a dream come true, as was the pool. We had an amazing time, felt welcome and at home. The town is also very friendly and nice, 4 tavernas and a mini market.

We had a very nice stay, the room was exceptionally clean and the location convenient to enjoy Elafonisi and Kedrodasos beaches. The hosts were really kind too. Definitely recommend it!

Elegant tasteful architectural renovation of very old traditional village house in supremely peaceful location. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and large kitchen. Two patios - one private space and another one on which to eat, overlooking the village and mountains. Helpful and welcoming hosts. Superbly clean and a cleaner came in half-way through stay, washed floors etc and gave new sheets and towels. Fittings and appliances brand new. Mountain village location with tremendous birds and wildlife. Fell asleep to the peep-peep calls of the Nightjar, awoke to the crowing of roosters and a peacock. Accessed by main road between Kissamos and Palaochora via Topolia Gorge - 45 mins to Kisamos, 1.5 hours to Palaochora, around two hours to Chania airport. Thank you Gregory and Eleni, we had a very happy time.

Fantastic traditional style house done to a modern spec. Facilities very good and finish of property to a high standard. Size of property was impressive for our family of 3, split over two levels. Surrounding gardens beautifully maintained and pool, Sun loungers and hammocks great for enjoying this retreat up in the hills of SW of Crete. A fantastic base for exploring the beaches and mountain villages of this part of the island and close enough to easily visit the likes of Ellafonisi beach. A special mention for the host Mary though she was so friendly and accommodating with plenty of good info for the surrounding area, made us feel super welcome and always available if need be on site or via phone.

Lovely hideaway, in a quiet location. Close to great beaches an picturesque roads through the mountains. Facilities were clean and well maintained, very comfortable bed. Mary the host was very welcoming and engaging, provided great and useful tips to explore area - thank you! 😊 We ordered a breakfast, which was very tasty and great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!
