We stayed about 15 days in Aloni Villa and we loved every minute of our stay. The hosts family were really nice and it felt like they put a lot of effort and thought in order to make us feel the most welcomed and enjoy our stay. The place was super clean and we had everything we needed in order to feel both home and also on vacation. We woke up every morning to the sounds of birds and goats, with an incredible green view from every window in the house - it was exactly what we were looking for.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. The owner George was super welcoming from day one and gave us lots of local tips. He even invited us for a meal to his family’s taverna in a location close by surrounded by magical waterfalls. The view from the property is simply stunning overlooking the mountains and Asi Gonia village down below. The property benefits from a heated pool and a heated spa whirpool - both are heated up from the same source at a daily fee and need to be booked at least two days in advance for the pool to reach the desired temperature- they cannot be heated in separation. we travelled mid September when the evenings were a little cooler than summer nights and so having the heated pool was amazing! And again the view from the pool is unbeatable! The supermarket in the village has some basic supplies. The property is approx 1h 10m from Hora Sfakion (for Loutro and SWEETWATER Bay) and approx. 1h 20m from Preveli Beach (Palm Forest) - both excursions are incredible and highly recommended.

The villa is perfect for bigger groups or familys. Two separate floors/apartements, both very spacious and clean. There is barbeque grill and a lot of other extra equipment in the house. Nice pool with a mountain view. And Georgia and her family are extremly friendly and helpful hosts. We enjoyed our stay in the little village of Asigonia very much.

Everything was great! From the beginning everything was nicely explained, there was even someone there who could in german with us just in case anything would be unclear, very good service! Also, the location is fantastic, you really are in the mountains of Crete where it is very quiet but still the village is only a quick stroll away. During the stay we always felt very welcome and cared for. We even found some gifts for our kids which they were very happy about. :-) We would definitely recommend this and hope to come back at some time in the future.

This was hands down best rental we have stayed in all over the world,beautiful setting beautiful house and absolutely everything is in place for perfect stayby the owner Kristy ,she is amazing host and was always available before and during our stay .Would recommend to anyone staying in Crete .

I just felt like everything was perfect. this villa is really beautiful with an amazing view in all of its surroundings, very clean on the inside aswell, had everything we needed and was kept clean at all times through the duration of our stay with cleaners tidying up the place and replacing our bedding and towels. I would like to say a big thank you to our host Maria who is always quick to respond to our messages and enquiries, for also sorting out our travel arrangements and her recommendations on places to eat. me and my friends have been well accommodated and I think I speak for all of us when I say this is the best trip we have had. THANK YOU!!!

It was a small studio without a pool like others but my host was very nice and always messaged me when any pool is available Also sent me a lot direct link to places to visit, eat or drink or more simple like shopping near a village. I had a good contact all the time by What’s up and also he visited every night as well. There is a car park if you rent a car

Great location in between Rethymno and Chania, right next to the lake. The house was spacious and nice with a great view.. It was fully equiped and I deeply regret we did not have a chace to use the huge bbq in the back yard. Stavros was a very helpful host and trully the price couldn't be any better. Highly recomended accomodation in a "strategic" location and a great value for the money we paid.
