The place is located in a very picturesque area and the atmosphere is one of a kind. You almost feel like you are staying in a place out of this world - full of beauty, quietness and tranquility. Location was peaceful and rural and away from touristy Makrygialos. Perfect for walking or driving to quieter beaches. Interiors were simple, interesting (arty) and traditional. Really appreciated having the bedding changed and room cleaned every few days.

Villa Marie is fantastic and has everything required for a lovely relaxed holiday one of a few similar villas with a big shared pool which we enjoyed immensely and because a lot of the villas were unoccupied we had to ourselves on most days. Only a 10 minute walk down to the sea front and a good selection of restaurants and shops. Giorgos is a very responsive and helpful host and overall highly recommended.

we stayed as a family with a toddler and baby in Lemonia, the ground flour villa with private jacuzzi, garden, lemon tree, 3 spacious chambers, 2 bathrooms and a lovely kitchen with dishwasher. How much we enjoyed the private outside area, such a relaxing space! The environment is a pure gift; walk 5 steps outside and you’ll meet a beautiful sea, cosy restaurants and bars, but all not crowdy, and awing (my senses could not stop enjoying the cooling breeze, the clear water, the calming waves and the warm sand… such a gift! last but not least; the Cretan people; before I knew it; I was hugging locals, and how lovely the were for my kids, incredible! The South-east Cretans are golden. more golden than any Chrissy Island beach. Special kudos to Romeo, managing Lemonia residents, Greek though in love with Italy and Russia, he showed us the warmest heart, was ready any minute to support, help or just have a laugh.. Was a wanderful vacation for us. Our host Zoran was really kind. The view of the villa was amazing and pool was really good and big enough. Property was very clean and you can find almost all equipments in the kitchen. There are several nice taverns within 2 to 15 min drive.

The villa is even better than the photos. Nice interior and AMAZING pool, terrace and view. Location is a little remote so you will need a car and be ready to unwind and relax.
Kiki and George (sorry George I can't spell the Greek version of your name) were lovely and really welcoming. Super with information, friendly but not intrusive, just great. We did a split holiday and stayed in a Villa Plus accommodation for the few days before and have to say Sun Day Villa was 10 times better!
Amazing villa with a fabulous view, peaceful location and great pool with jacuzzi section. Really good quality furniture and well-equipped kitchen. 5 mins walk to 2 local tavernas. As well as the bathroom, there was another cloakroom downstairs which hadn't been mentioned
This is such a wonderful place to stay. The owners are very hospitable and always helpful. Upon arrival, we were greeted with refreshments. The villa is great! There is everything you need. Far from a large flow of tourists, and for comfort I highly recommend renting a car. In 5 minutes walk there is a gorgeous natural beach with a minimum of people. We will come back here with great pleasure.
Brilliant location, with great views over the sea. Pool is fantastic and has a nice surprise with the Jacuzzi function. Beach and a couple of restaurants in walking distance. You do need a car to get around, the closest city is 15-20 mins away. Overall a fantastic holiday in a great villa!
