A beautiful cottage in a small hamlet just outside of Widecombe In The Moor. The cottage was lovely with high quality furnishings. There was a well equipped kitchen, lots of useful local information and maps in the lounge plus DVDs and board games. There were some lovely touches such as flowers, eggs, a home made cake, bath salts and an honesty wine rack. There was a patio with BBQ and the garden had beautiful views, with ponies in the next field. The owners live nearby and were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to a beautiful pub in the village, The Rugglestone Inn. A further 5 minute walk takes you to the centre of the village with another pub, tea room and shops, which were all great. It was a lovely area to stay to visit the whole of Dartmoor and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage.
