Lovely base for a family in a good location. The kitchen had all the facilities you need to cook and a lovely conservatory to sit, eat and relax in. The kids loved the black room!

The location of the property was perfect. We visited for a family wedding at Howsham Hall so didn't want an expensive taxi journey..

Loved its central but quiet location and how obliging and responsive Rosie the owner was. Thought the apartment was smart and well equipped with some thoughtful extra touches - certainly no sense of skimping.

Beautiful village, cottage is stunning, every little thing is thought about, absolutely loved it and will be back. Bedrooms and bathroom is lovely, the log fires are a lovely addition in the winter and were used during our stay. Everything has been thought of within the property.
Excellent location in a quiet village. Very comfortable and well equipped with a good outdoor area at the back. Pub just a few doors down, which served great food. Great Welcome hamper provided and good/prompt communication with owner.

Yew Tree Cottage is a fantastic holiday cottage. We were staying in the cottage while busy preparing for our son's wedding in Sheriff Hutton and it was a great base. The cottage is finished to a very high standards and feels just like home. The owners were so helpful and provided us with extra bedlinen and a lovely hamper on arrival. No negative points. We also had a wonderful meal in The Blacksmith Arms just a few doors away. Would definitely recommend.
The location was great. Westow is a pretty, quiet, little village not too far from Malton and York. There was a lovely playground 5 minutes walk from the apartment which was great for the children and the apartment was comfortable and clean. We traveled to Malton to eat a couple of times as there were a number of family friendly restaurants (and a fabulous ice cream shop).
The property is in a wonderfully peaceful location. Perfect to relax with friends, walking, and not too far to drive to York town centre. The only pub in the village is lovely with a great Sunday roast but as its the only place to eat make sure you book in advance! Although we didn't meet the hosts it was very easy to contact them if we had any questions.
