Room seemed well used and only ok for a one night stop-over. Service was pleasant, but slow. The menu promised more than it delivered. Breakfast at £30 for two in addition to the room rate was a bit much but the breakfast was good.

An absolute cracking location within a stones throw of the cathedral and the castle and parking directly outside. Communication was spot on and the room was clean and the bed very comfy.

Great little place. Great value for money right in the centre of town with an excellent host. Would strongly recommend for those visiting the area for similar purposes

As soon as we got to the pub we felt at ease as there was a lovely, relaxed ambience about the place. This is due mainly to the staff and village volunteers who make this place special. A special mention must go to Rachel who runs the front of house and is a star. Such a breath of fresh air to find someone who loves her job, loves people and seriously cares about your stay. Excellent selection of beer too which helps! The rooms were gorgeous and just a step away from the bar area. We didn't spend much time in ours as we stayed in the pub until late. Breakfast was great too with lots to fill us up for the rest of the day. We will be back as soon as we can!

Location excellent for the Cathdral and restaurants. Private parking a bonus. Staff very friendly and obliging. Walk and Ride bus right by the Cathedral so handy to get to the shopping area. Would definitely stay here again.

Honestly, if you are staying in Sleaford, surely stay here. The young lady who manages the place could not have been more helpful and friendly. She advised us on taxis to RAF Cranwell, and, when a few of my younger friends were late for breakfast, she still cooked for them. She also made sure our cars were covered for parking for their first hour. If I were visiting Sleaford again this would be the only place I would want to book into.
