Well thought out and a decent location for a break.
Swimming pool and other facilities able to be booked for your own group for half an hour time slots. This was great as we had a five week old baby and it was his first time in the pool so we obviously had to make preparations for this.

What a lovely place, so glad we discovered it. Annette is fab and her breakfasts are amazing. She’s a very welcoming host and the BnB is absolutely superb, as are the views south towards York. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

It is a beautiful little pub in a peaceful village with lots of walks on the doorstep and good links to nearby places. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner, and the menu is fantastic. Staff can’t do enough for you and are really helpful. Little touches like freshly baked biscuits in the room and fresh milk, as well as a small lounge you can sit in if you wish. Really reasonable price too. Love it. The beds are really comfortable and cosy.

Some lovely extras like home cooked biscuits and soaps etc.Village folk welcomed us to their table tennis evening- something on I. the village hall most nights of the week.
The location was ideal for where we were travelling to, in a lovely quiet village. The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable and clean. The food was exceptional, beautiful lunch and breakfast. Nice touch cold flask of milk and biscuits in room, would definitely recommend.
