The layout of this cottage was superb - especially for my elderly mother who has mobility challenges. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious - especially the tubs! The remote charm of this cottage was further enhanced by the whole village, including the friendly proprietor and locals at the nearby pub, plus an excellent mobile coffee wagon we discovered near the common. Perfect for a quiet weekend away in the country.

Sussanah was so accommodating and friendly! And the property was very comfortable, clean, and had lots of space! We celebrated a birthday there, had a BBQ, had a bit of music and a great time. Sussanah even popped in on the Sunday to say hi which was nice!

We stayed here as wanted to visit Southend and Clacton and surrounding areas so drove out each day, also had 3 kids so lots of outside space for them to let off steam. Couldn't fault the property and owners were lovely, vary accomodating.
