The location was easy to find with GPS/Google maps app. It is a perfect spot for a base location for exploring the south of the Lake District. Close to Ulverston for your shopping desires or if you left anything at home. The house was nice and clean. Our favorite thing was the beautiful view from the house, the scenery is amazing from there. Didn't have the chance to get to know the hosts unfortunately and explore all surroundings due to our short stay, but the animals(dogs, cat, alpacas, sheep) were welcoming :)

Katie and staff and locals very friendly. Lovely large clean room and lovely breakfast. Booked evening meal on first night which was also very good. Great base to explore from and nice and quiet location for a good night's sleep. Would highly recommended.

The hosts are lovely people they couldn’t have made us more welcome and at home. Not only was the breakfast delicious the set-up of the table downstairs in the dining room in front of the fire was so cozy. Was perfect for a short cozy break for me and my partner.
