Arisaig Guest House, hotel in Strathmiglo

Situated within 2.8 km of Scone Palace and 34 km of Discovery Point in Perth, Arisaig Guest House offers accommodation with seating area.

Everything. Our host was friendly, helpful and very informative. The room was small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a very peaceful night's sleep. The was a wide choice at breakfast, freshly cooked to order and very very tasty. The communal sitting room was stylish and comfortable, with many useful books and pamphlets about Perth and the surrounding areas of interest to visitors. On the morning of departure, our host kindly stored our luggage so that we could visit Perth unencumbered and we collected it later in the afternoon on leaving Perth.

Location was perfect as it was very central We were going to the concert hall which was right across the road and we like a Witherspoon’s which was just around the corner. The River Tay ran parallel to flat also so really nice to take a walk at night We got parked also at the back entrance to the flat The flat was perfect & modern Bed in back bedroom was really comfortable Host had left us information on what was around, 10% voucher off at restaurant across the road, fridge had bottled water, butter, sachets of milk, there were plenty tea coffee salt cooking oil & tea towels etc. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom had plenty bath & hand towels etc for us to use, toilet rolls, shower gels etc. I would definitely recommend staying here & would return if visiting Perth again Host answered any questions that I had immediately also

A lovely little cottage, suitable for a couple or single occupancy. It really is a lovely place, just needs a few things to be finished to make it perfect, i.e painting around edges, a clothes horse to dry clothes, coat hangers in wardrobe. There is a Small morrisons just a few doors down, and a pub a short walk away. Parking is definitely a problem. There are a lot of cars for such a small place. I had to park up the middle of the village, which when raining isn't great.

It was a well maintained & well equipped, bright, comfortable, compact property in a lovely village, a great little cottage with a garden. It was a nice touch to provide some breakfast items (porridge oats & individual jams). A good base for visiting Fife. Would recommend.
