Nice pub with friendly owners. Rooms were above the pub and were very comfortable. Nice shower stall with hot water. Very substantial breakfast was included. The full English sets you up for the day.

Hosts, Emma and Rob, were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Our welcome basket was extremely generous and thoughtfully done. It was a relaxing, rural retreat, just what we were looking for. Very central to seeing interesting places in the surrounding area. Great house for kids, very clean, and comfortable beds. Kitchen was one of the most well equipped, it had everything you needed. Kids loved the garden and play barn. Location great to visit Rurland Waters, Oakham and Stamford.

The owner answers the phone when you call!! We had some difficulty finding the property. We called and the owner was more than happy to help us find the property. The owner/operator was exceptionally friendly. We felt very welcomed and appreciated her interest in our travels and her willingness to share information about her property. You feel like you are at a farm on the outskirts of a small village (and you are). The breakfast she provided was great.
