Corbridge Roman town is only 5 mins away and Corbridge Township is about 7 minutes away with plenty of choices for eating. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, cooked a fresh full breakfast every morning and offered assistance on places to visit even provided a parking disk. Breakfast was taken in a room with a view across the valley. Even though the B & B is close to a major highway there was little noise. Parking was easy on the property..

Breakfast was superb, met the chef who is a lovely man and so are all the staff at the Wheatsheaf all very friendly and helpful. The wheatsheaf is in walking distance of all shops an restaurants.

The cottage was in the lovely village of Corbridge. The cottage was very well equipped. It had a lovely bright kitchen, cosy lounge and separate dining room. Upstairs were 2 double bedrooms, plenty of storage and a very large bathroom with separate shower cubicle. The linen on the beds was top quality.

The provisions provided on arrival were very good, no rush to go out to the shop. There were plenty of places to eat in the location. I would certainly return to this property. I have also recommended it to family already
