The tent its self was lovely, beds were comfy, the log burner was perfect to keep us toasty warm. Bathrooms were very clean. The view was stunning. Andy was very friendly, with great communication and happy to sort out any issues at all.

Night halt on our drive to Heathrow for a morning flight. We checked in past 10 pm and there was no issue. The place was clean and as seen in the pictures. Check out at 05.00 am was smooth.
Nice location in a small village. The hotel staff were super helpful in dealing with a late check-in, far better than some recent experiences I've had elsewhere.
Room was nice with a good shower.
There were a few extra touches which I wasn't expecting, like a fridge in the room and some breakfast supplies.
All in all a great experience.
With Public Houses on the decline and large chain hotels on the increase, staying in a Pub overnight is becoming the exception rather than the norm. This particular pub is the last of 6 that once graced the village and though it's facilities are not the pristine contempary style of a large chain hotel it does have character befitting its age and social history. With an excellent menu served in the restaurant/bar all in a local pub environment, it made for a pleasurable and honest down to earth experience.
Cottage was the perfect venue for a reunion with seven friends. Well equipped and nicely furnished with interesting features. Situated in a picturesque village with local pub and plenty of walks nearby. The owner was there to meet us and show us around. Liked the steam train that ran close by.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, as were other local customers. The food was excellent, and there was a good range of beers from the bar, including "Tribute" from the St Austell Brewery, which I tasted for the first time and then a couple more to make sure. :-) The location is very handy for access to the Longwick Village Hall. Value for money is very good.
