Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Quirky, cool vibe with a mix of features contemporary with its 1800's character and modern appointments such as interactive home automation. James is friendly and great at getting back to messages.

Perfect location for ferry. Excellent host also very good breakfast
Beautiful, well equipped and presented cottage. Great facilities and extra touches. Parking space a bonus but yards from the train station. Great for exploring the beautiful preserved village and further afield.
This is a fantastic place: the cottage is in the historic port sunlight village. It is renovated and decorated with much taste looking charmingly vintage, but offering every modern comfort. James is a attentive and charming host even digitally.
I booked a family room for the two of us which was very spacious, we had dinner in the hotel which was as expected, and a full English breakfast the next day which was cooked just for us and we enjoyed, there wasn't much choice of continental breakfast, but to be fair I don't think they had many guests staying so didn't put much out. It was a pleasant walk around the village of Port Sunlight and along to the art gallery (with cafe beneath) with lots of historic buildings to see.
Spacious, clean, comfortable family room. Excellent staff who went out of their way for us. The village is so pretty, and less than 20 minutes on the train into the city. Good value for what we paid.
The cottage was very conveniently situated near to the railway station, especially if travelling by public transport. Also close to every part of Port Sunlight, making it easy to visit all areas of this unique village. Port Sunlight is such a fabulous and picturesque Village - a photographer's dream! A step back in time to life in the 1800s. James was an amazing and generous host and his home is delightful and very comfortable indeed. We plan a return visit in the future.
Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Food was good when it finally came. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful location in stunning village.
