I must also compliment the friendly and welcoming staff at Parracombe Pavilion Stores & Cafe, where we not only took asylum from the rain but enjoyed very good coffee and cakes. Excellent tucked away holiday cottage to go with family and/or friends. Location within walking distance from the coast, all comfort provided (including dishwasher and washing machine), tastefully furbished. Very nice hosts, Judith helped us with sorting out the tick "infestation" on our dog when back from walking through farming land (yes, there are ticks everywhere in Devon at this time, so make sure you take extra care for your dogs if they travel with you). Good pubs in short driving distance around - Black Venus was our favourite by far, but you need to reserve in advance. Perfect holiday for coastal walks!

Location is a little remote but very peaceful. The accomondation is clean, comfortable and well maintained. Kitchen was very well equipped and bathrooms were modern with constant hot water. Log burner with wood is an added bonus as well.
