This Shepherds Hut, the first we have stayed in, was located in the corner of a sunny field looking at a rural setting. The owner came to say hello a couple of times, brought fresh milk and also eggs from her hens. The accommodation was cheerful, clean and snuggly - as we hoped. A delightful stay

Wonderful hostess that provided a nice breakfast with some delicious homemade jam. We had an early ferry and they also gave us breakfast to go that morning.
Location was great for exploring the island and if you need the bus it's right outside

John is an amazing host, and he had everything covered. Before we arrived, he had clear concise instructions, complete with pictures, on how to locate the home, park, and enter. He was very understanding when we had to arrive later than our check-in time, and graciously provided comforts that meant so much to us weary travelers. We thoroughly enjoyed our long walks to the beaches. We stayed two nights total, but we would love to return someday and spend more time, especially in the charming garden out back. We so appreciated how wonderfully welcome John made us feel.

The apartment is one of the most stunningly decorated places I have ever visited. There was a hardly a speck of dust anywhere and the whole place was impeccably clean. We only spent a night there but we wish we booked it longer and enjoyed the cozy space. Perhaps a great idea to visit in winter since there is a fireplace!
Beautifully decorated with some quirky touches. Pleasant country views and a good shower.
The owners are lovely , hospitable and very helpful and a lot of thought has gone into what people may need eg local maps, board games , kitchen utensils.
There are two local pubs , and the food at the local village pub was excellent and good value .
