Breakfast was fine for me. I like muesli, fruit and yoghurt. I liked chatting to the host over breakfast. She's a great character.

The cottage was immaculate but also styled to a very high spec - my family were super impressed. The code access was easier than trying to find and remember keys all the time, beds were super comfy and everything you needed was available. When i stupidly left a much treasured watch behind, the cleaner handed it in immediately and Hannah posted it straight back to me. My husband and I will definitely return to Carpenter’s cottage and use it as our base in the lakes- could not recommend this cottage more highly.

Nice place everything you need and a pub and restaurant on site we had no noise from the pub at all. When the apartment door was closed you would not know it was there.

Location is great, right in the heart of Kendal and amenities on the door step. Spacious and clean and equipped enough for a short stay.

Couldn't get a better location. Central and close to so many bars, restaurants and shops.
Car park free after 6pm until 8am and only a minute walk to the apartment.
Beds were probably the comfiest I've ever slept on!
