Peaceful surroundings, comfy bed, great selection for breakfast plus delicious home made sausage rolls and cake to take with us for morning tea on our departure. If it would be possible we would give the Smithy Cottage 11/10 rating! The owner Michelle takes care of the guests with with love and an extreme eye for detail. The welcome cookies, the shower soaps and the soft and fresh linen for the comfortable beds. There was plenty of information and tips for her guests. The location is superb on the old square of the charming village Chilham, opposite of the White Horse, very traditional pub and over 600 years old.

The hosts were extremely helpful, the barn was equipped with everything needed for a large family, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the barn overall was very clean! The location was also beautiful, perfect for a weekend break.
