This is the second time we have stayed at Mill Cottage and we will definitely return. The cottage is perfectly located - in the quaint village of Parbold with easy access to neighbouring towns and cities. The local coffee shop and pubs are great and the walk along the canal is stunning. The cottage itself is maintained to a very high standard. The hosts are very responsive and happy to answer ant questions. They have thought of all finer details making the stay feel very special. We have stayed here both during the warmer Summer months and during Winter and both times it has been perfect each time.

Didn’t hire a car because it is so well situated by train and bus for several destinations. Lovely country walks and nearby restaurants.

Room was exceptionally tidy. Bath and showers were perfectly clean. We came just to sleep and be on our way but stayed a bit longer in the morning than planned bc it was so peaceful and quiet. We slept with our windows open and it was silent as can be and we didn’t want to get up.
