The cottage was great and the village is lovely. Nice quiet location and handy for Elie and the Fife coastline. The cottage was very clean and the host left some food essentials for us which was lovely. Would definitely recommend. The host Cheryl was great at communicating with us before the stay and rearranged the bedroom into 2 single beds rather than the super king-size which was really helpful and she also provided information about electric car chargers locally.

Beautiful grounds with plenty of stuff for children to do. Had family staying in the villas that are on site, and they seemed to be the better option if you are thinking of booking a property here. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Exceptional location; well appointed facilities in our villa; very clean with a high standard of accessories i.e. crockery, towels, towelling gowns etc. Only downside were the beds. The males in the group were both 6’ 3”, so larger beds with softer mattresses would have been nice. Overall, though, a really first class place to stay.

The property has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. All the little extra touches were so thoughtful, even some treats for the dog! The garden was fully enclosed and well maintained. The property is in a fabulous location within the village. The host was very responsive and left clear, easy to follow information regarding all aspects of the cottage and surrounding area. We will definitely be returning!

Spacious villas which were clean, comfortable, functional and quiet albeit slightly dated. Great location for exploring local villages. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, highly recommended. Dog friendly and no extra charge for them either.

Lovely estate which has beautiful grounds and is very clean. It's a picturesque place to be staying. The villa was lovely and spotless. Great staff at reception and the bistro which had a great choice of menu. Although we didn't use the swimming pool it looked very inviting. We will pack swim wear next time we visit

Nice hotel with plenty of facilities for everyone in the family (pool, tennis, gym, badminton, toddler area, putting green.. ). We stayed in the castle itself, it was comfortable. The room is a bit old style, which I guess is to match with the castle theme but the bathroom are modern. They also have villas where families can stay. The pool is heated and they have saunas in men and women changing rooms. The food in the bistro was nice and not too pricey for a hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
