The room I stayed in was not just spotless and comfortable, but also thoughtfully decorated with a personal touch. The plush bedding and locally made toiletries added to the charm of the room, making it a truly cosy and inviting space. The real highlight, though, is the hospitality. The hosts, Christine and Andy, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, with an attention to detail that sets this B&B apart. From the personalised welcome note to the helpful tips about local attractions and pubs, their warmth is felt in every interaction. They genuinely care about your stay and create an atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family. And then there's the breakfast—oh, the breakfast! It was a feast for the senses. I was greeted with the heavenly aroma of freshly brewed coffee and homemade baked goods. The menu was a delightful mix of locally sourced ingredients, including farm-fresh eggs, that were almost too beautiful to eat. It felt like dining at a gourmet restaurant, yet with all the cosiness of home. The outdoor spaces were equally enchanting. Whether relaxing in a garden nook with a good book or sipping wine on the patio, every corner of this property exudes a sense of peace and relaxation that is hard to find elsewhere. It's clear that every inch of this B&B has been designed with love and care. Excellent breakfast. I could not fault it. Good shower. Firm bed and comfortable. Kathy was a fine host. She went the extra mile to recommend restaurants providing their post codes and telephone numbers etc. The refrigerator on the landing was ideal for storing my packed lunches. I would use the same b&b if ever I am in the area. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

The Renaissance aesthetic of the interior was amazing! A suit of armour near the giant stone fireplace set the mood. The marble tiles of the bathroom were beautiful and one of the cleanest I've ever seen. The staff were friendly and helpful and I respect their dedication to fixing up a listed building as they have.

Property was very clean and had everything you needed and decorated to a high standard. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a good location and within walking distance to the town centre. Would definitely stay here again...

The owners were extremely friendly and did not want to rush you out the door as soon as your time was up they are very relaxed and chilled, and the yurt was nice and clean and comfortable

We needed somewhere to stay for a County darts weekend and chose the Paddocks Wood, and we weren't disappointed.The hosts were very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made us feel very welcome They made our stay very pleasurable. The location was lovely and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again if we were down that way again. Thank you for the great hospitality ☺️

Very clean, modern, great location, good value for money, easy check in. Great WiFi, Netflix, Disney, etc. Helpful hosts.

The room was clean and spacious with a good bathroom. The pub has excellent food and a good choice of refreshments. The jewel in the crown was the amazing welcome and friendliness of the staff. I cannot overstate how amazing the staff and owners were and I never expected to be playing card games with the locals in such a warm, inviting and impressive pub. In the words of Arnie, I’ll be back!

The room we had was ideal for us because we were travelling with pets- nice room, spacious en suite facility and handy garden terrace! The staff were friendly and helpful and assisted us make the most of our stay!
