The rooms were comfortable with en suite bathrooms. Fine for a short stay. The pub landlord was welcoming and friendly and ensured we were able to gain easy access out of hours when we returned from a wedding.

A nicely decorated room in a pleasant pub. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot. We had dinner in the pub - good pub food reasonably priced. Although the pub only does cooked breakfast at the weekend they supplied a ‘brunch bag’ with croissants, jam and fruit. There was also information about the village shop where you could get a cooked breakfast. The village shop/cafe was worth the short walk for breakfast.
I didn't have breakfast. Location was perfect for my friend's 60th party in a nearby village. The staff member who came to reception was friendly.
Plenty of very hot water in the bathroom.
A lovely pub in a small village 5 miles from Alton town centre in Hampshire. We wanted a place to stay while we visited my son and his girlfriend. We had my parents with us too, and the six of us had dinner and breakfast at the pub. The rooms were cosy and clean, the food was excellent and the service very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again. We chatted with the chef, who clearly takes great pride in what he does and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend.
Garden and master suite and spacious living areas downstairs.
Owner/host was a great communicator and clearly wanted to make everything as good as it could be.
It is clearly someone's home and I respect and like that - absolutely NOT a soulless clone-like holiday home.
Tea coffee making facilities, hairdryer, comfy beds, plenty of storage space and hangers, mirrors, tv
Location was good for our needs
Breakfast was good, breakfast room spacious, plenty of available seating and not on top of each other
Appears to have good facilities - spa, pool etc but didn’t use
Lovely looking hotel with nice grounds near to supermarket/village
Staff and security very friendly and helpful
The house is simply stunning. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that this beautiful house was even better than it looks in the pictures. Set in the middle of a delightful little village it really is perfect. The owners have gone to great lengths to provide everything needed for a fantastic stay. The attention to detail makes this house so special.
Beautiful cottage, thoughtfully, tastefully and creatively decorated. Homely, cosy and spacious. Warm, bright. Loved the views into the lovely courtyard through large glass patio doors and stable doors. All amenities worked well, comfy beds, good plumbing, good lighting, super clean. Felt like well designed home from home. Maria was a wonderful host: responsive, organised, professional. Loved her folder with useful local information. Located in quiet village with an easy walk to a peaceful path running along Basingstoke Canal.
Visiting family who live in the village, this property was ideal for us. Tucked away in a secluded location at the heart of Odiham, it offered easy access to all of the local amenities.
The Loft was spacious and tastefully furnished with a very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Nice little touches on arrival made us feel particularly welcome.
Rachel was an extremely helpful host and was able to answer all of our questions quickly.
We hope to stay at The Loft next time we travel down to Odiham.
