Brendan and I spent two lovely nights in absolutely peace, surrounded by nature and a cute horse The hot tub was such a great experience too. Allison was super available, helpful and sweet! this property was stunning, it was like walking into a movie set. so nicely updated but with tons of charm and comfort. It had so many thoughtful amenities such as everything needed for young kids ( baby gate, high chair, plastic cups and a bed) and things like extra blankets and pillows and baskets for laundry. Such a great retreat. The back garden is a dream. the owners also left a great guide book with useful info. Even though Castle Combe is a top attraction for tourists the mornings and evenings were fairly quiet we had no issue parking on the Street. there are also some footpath trails that connect from the road to the village center

The Old Court House was very well maintained, clean and as advertised! Such a rich history we found fascinating. The location was central to all thing Castle Combe (albeit a very small village). Castle Combe is literally like stepping back in time and absolutely overflowing with charm and beauty! The locals are warm and sell ice cream and cakes right out of their homes! PS. Castle Inn dining was exceptional.
