The lodge was a fantastic stop off on the journey down from the Highlands! Really easy to find and great comms from the owners. The place itself was immaculate, so clean and fresh!
It was lovely and warm and cosy, well decorated and equipped. The bed was comfy and we slept well!
Honestly wish he had booked more than one night as it was so quiet and relaxing! Just perfect!
Location is brilliant if still heading on to Scotland plus the nice big shopping village next door. Grounds are lovely with all grass, bushes, shrubs etc trimmed. Which you would expect with being a wedding venue. Reception clean and fresh same as the rooms with lovely comfortable large beds. Bedroom facilities all great.
Great location for our travels with access to the motorway and local designer outlet village.
Large room with sofa. Bath and seperate shower in bathroom.
Nice bar area and decent food at good prices.
This was a really great place to break our journey and we were made very welcome with our dog who had a sausage cooked specially for him for breakfast!
We enjoyed walking around the village and we had such a comfortable night and a very good breakfast.
Location just off motorway. Easy access. Plenty of parking space. Close to Outlet Village and Gretna Green. Friendly attentive Reception and Bar staff.
The breakfast was excellent and offered more food than I could want. The tables were well spaced and as a bonus we were seated beside a window overlooking the beautiful gardens. Our main purpose at Gretna was to visit the Outlet Shopping Village which was approx 1/2 mile from the hotel. We were also delighted to have been randomly selected for an upgrade to a suite, (Romeo & Juliet Suite) which was timely as we were celebrating a wedding anniversary the following day.
We stopped en route to Scotland, after staying we will definitely be back for a longer break. Plenty of space, well thought out holiday home. Small touches such as welcome basket were lovely.
All on one level, just one step into the property. Accessible shower room.
This holiday home has everything you need, exceptional property, great location, our only
Regret is not been able to stay for longer, but will definitely be back soon. 10/10
Hotel was clean and room was a decent size. The location is perfect for an overnight stay, right next to the motorway and the Gretna Services which has a Waitrose outlet. It is also only a mile away from the Gretna Outlet Village, which although a bit pointless unless you specifically want the shops there, it helps pass the time. The shower in the room was exceptional, great water pressure.
