The chef took time to explain the food and the meal was extremely good. Restaurant staff very pleasant. Great little village shop just along the road.
The whole experience was good. From first arrival to leaving after breakfast. Pub lively and bustling. lots of laughter and bon amie. Room compact, but perfect for the stay. Loved the eclectic taste. plenty of parking, lots of garden and facilities therein. This is a good enjoyable English Country pub with lovely rooms. All is set in rustic village setting with fabulous patron and staff.
We were welcomed ,our room was ready even tho we were an hour early... there was entertainment on in the evening and after an excellent meal we enjoyed listening to the live band . Breakfast in the morning was large ,hot and brought to us by a lovely smiling lady . We will definitely revisiting to this lovely, clean hotel in a rural village.

The hotel seemed to be a focal point of the village, during the day plenty of families enjoying the weather, play area for the children, walks and the hotels facilities.
Fantastic on all counts ,not a bad word to say . The pub serves excellent food the staff are very friendly ,location is in a village and has a lovely beer garden . Breakfast was great . Would not hesitate to book again.
Lovely place to stay like home from home & staff very welcoming & quick service. Food was piping ho t & delicious. Location lovely village & very quiet & peaceful in evening with good easy access to motorway. Ideal base to explore surrounding cheshire area. Will definitely return.
Set in nice village,the room was very clean, had tv, toiletries, nice tea and coffee tray, liked the buffet breakfast bar as could get fresh milk for drinks, staff very helpful and friendly.
